Copper Boy Dahlia Tuber (Pre-Order)
Rust, Red, Brown, Copper. Copper Boy has been one of the most popular varieties in recent years. We can't get enough of this 4" ball dahlias. We find these lovely blooms change to pale apricot in the short days of late fall.
Spring Shipping begins late March, weather permitting
Plant dahlias in full sun. Perennial in Zones 8-11. Each year we select our favorite cut flower varieties. Dahlias are great for novice and experienced gardeners.
Be sure to open your dahlia tuber package immediately on arrival! Store tubers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated, dark place until planting. Your tubers are packed in peat, vermiculite and rice hulls to control moisture. This packing materiel can be added to your planting. We trim all tuber clumps and verify growing Eyes. Each variety has different shaped tubers. We may include separated Tubers rather than an intact clump to prevent breakage during shipping. To protect your live tubers we watch the weather closely and ship as soon as the danger of a hard freeze has passed.
