Deep burgundy with black buds. Black Amandine are one of our earlier bloomers and very prolific. Flower size is slightly smaller but the stem length is extraordinary!
Winter Hardy zone 8-10.
Ranunculus are exceptional cut flowers and look lovely in the landscape. Plant in a bright spot in well draining soil in early spring or fall in 55 degree soil.
When to Plant?
We are in zone 7 at HHF we plant in Fall and very early spring to maximize our season March-June
Fall Planting: We pre-sprout and plant corms outside October-November and protect with frost cloth through the winter.ย
Spring Planting: We start corms inside January - February and transplant as soon as the ground thaws.
