Pictures don’t do these hard-to-find Romance Ranunculus justice! They’re enormous with many petals that seem unreal. Disease-resistant and hardy, they can produce up to 20 blooms each.
*HHF Tip: Romance corms are chunky! Pre-sprouting takes longer than Amandine corms. Be patient! We allow 3-4 weeks for sprouting before transplanting Romance (and Butterfly ranunculus). The massive blooms and sturdy stems are worth it!

Romance Ranunculus are vegetatively propagated Italian clones developed for premium cut flower production. They feature large blooms with layered petals and excellent vase life. Each corm produces multiple tall, strong stems, making them ideal for bouquet work and market sales.
Clone Ranunculus are patent-protected, lab-propagated (tissue culture), consistent, and have large blooms, but fewer stems per plant. Romance Ranunculus are a clone type but part of a premium Italian series with romantic, designer-focused colors.
Amandine Ranunculus are seed-grown, more affordable, slightly smaller flowers, and better suited for beginner growers or warmer climates.
Planting and Zones:
- Zones 8–10: Fall plant for spring blooms.
- Zones 3–7: Early spring plant.
Perennial in Zones 8–10, grown as an annual in colder regions.
