Level up your cut flowers with Romance Ranunculus, a specialty Italian variety bred for long, thick stems, high productivity, and unique pastel-to-rich hues. A top choice for flower farmers and florists, Romance blooms are known for their trendy, romantic tones and strong performance in the field or tunnel. Sturdy Stems have an outstanding vase life and disease resistance.
🌿 What Are Romance Ranunculus?
Romance Ranunculus are vegetatively propagated clones, developed for premium cut flower production. They feature large blooms with layered petals and excellent vase life. Each corm produces multiple tall, strong stems—ideal for bouquet work and market sales.
🔍 What’s the Difference?
Clone Ranunculus: Patent Protected, Lab-propagated (tissue culture), consistent, large blooms, fewer stems per plant.
Romance Ranunculus: A clone type, but part of a premium Italian series with romantic, designer-focused colors.
Amandine Ranunculus: Seed-grown, more affordable, slightly smaller flowers, better for beginner growers or warmer climates.
Why are Clone Ranunculus so expensive?
Clone ranunculus corms are expensive because the tissue culture process is labor-intensive, low-yield and takes three years. Many varieties are patent protected limiting production. This produces disease-free, florist-grade flowers with large blooms and long stems. These special beauties are well worth the premium pricing.
